Jean Clark, age 80, of Tifton (formerly of Rochelle), passed away Monday, May 10, 2021, in the Tifton Health Rehab Center.She was a self-employed cosmetologist for 40 plus years, and was a member of the Rochelle First Ave. Baptist Church.Jean loved to cook and read, and enjoyed playing bingo and the singing services at Tifton Health and Rehab Center. Jean was born August 22, 1940 in Ashburn, Ga., to the late Albert L. Padgett and Myrtle Maddox Padgett.She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Laurie Vann Clark; a brother, Dwight Padgett, and a nephew, Derrick Hatcher. She is survived by her sons, Scott Clark (JoJo) of Tifton, and Ladd Clark of Albany; her sisters, Elaine McGowan (Ray), Diane Hatcher (Mike Davis), and Janice Padgett all of Albany, and Cheryl Wilkerson of Rochelle; 3 grandchildren, Jackson Clark, Maggie Clark, and Jamie Clark; nephews, Roby Medley (Lisa), and Michael Padgett (Lindsey); nieces, Lauren Mueller (Buck), and Callie Collier; and several great-nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, at 2:00 p.m. in Morningside Cemetery with Rev. David Clark officiating.Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1:00-1:45 p.m. prior to the service.Pallbearers will be Mike Davis, Ray McGowan, Roby Medley, Chandler Medley, Michael Padgett, and Buck Mueller.
