Janice Mcghee Burnette

Janice McGhee Burnette, age 80, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2016. Mrs. Burnette was born on September 29, 1936, in San Diego, California, the daughter on the late Walter C. McGhee and Louise Hancock McGhee. She was a wonderful mother who loved her children and laughed with her family every day.She enjoyed longs walks, gardening, traveling , camping and reading.Mrs. Burnette was proceeded indeath by her husband, William "Bill" Burnette; brother, Michael Marion McGhee; grandchildren, Crysta Marie and William Franklin Burnette. Survivors include her son, Mark Burnette, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Bart and Shannon Burnette, Cleveland; daughter Lori Burnette, Jasper; sisters Lianne Alvarez, Norcross, and Nancy Morris, Ponte Vedra, FL; brother, Walter Patrick McGhee, Cleveland; as well as several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 30 ,2016 at Pitts Cemetery in Pitts,Georgia. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
