James Ray Tedders

James R. Tedders, age 82 of Rochelle, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2009 in the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 23, 2009 in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.Reverend Tom Camp and Reverend Ray Burnette will officiate.Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, February 23 in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Albany with Military Rites. Mr. Tedders was born on April 15, 1926 in Dodge County.He was son of Herschel Ray Tedders and Nettie Lee Smith Tedders.He was a retired Civil Service Employee from the Albany Marine Corps Logistics Base.He was of the Methodist Faith. He served his country with honor during World War II in the United States Marines. Survivors include:wife-Neva Tedders of Rochelle, daughter-Deborah (Wayne) Seals of Kennesaw, brother-Bobby Tedders of Cordele, 2-grandchildren, Heather (C. J.) Stam and Bryan (Jennifer) Seals, and 2-great-grandchildren, Neil Stam and Wyatt Baylor Seals. Visitation will be from 4-6 PM Sunday in the funeral home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
