James D. Cranford

James D. Cranford, age 85 of Macon, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at his residence.Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 2nd in the Pleasant View Baptist Church.Visitation will be one hour before the service at 12 noon in the church.Reverend Grady Mimbs and Reverend Jimmy Black will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Pleasant View Cemetery. Mr. Cranford was born on April 26, 1928 in Pitts.He was son of the late James Hardy Cranford and Odessa Irene Harpe Cranford.He was a retired Insurance Agent with Life of Georgia with 40 years of service.He was a member of the Ingleside Baptist Church in Macon. Survivors include:Margaret Cranford of Macon, son-Kenny (Lisa) Cranford of Kathleen, 2-daughters-Gayle Cranford of Macon and Vicky (Jack) Wyche of Milton, 4-grandchildren-Nancy Layhew, Emily Adams, David Wyche and Aaron Cranford and 1-great-grandchild-Robbie Riley.
