James R. Adkinson

James R. “Jimmy” Adkinson, age 48 of 9445 GA Hwy. 215 S., Abbeville, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2009.Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, September 5, 2009 in the Morningside Cemetery in Rochelle with the Rev. Talmadge Wilcox officiating. Mr. Adkinson was born on October 22, 1960 in Coweta County.He was son of the late John Dempsey Adkinson.He was a carpenter.He was preceded in death by a daughter-Melinda Joyce Adkinson and a sister-Joyce Carol Adkinson. Survivors include:wife-Virginia I. Adkinson of Rochelle, mother-Carol Adkinson of Hogansville, Special Companion-Judy Akins of Abbeville, son-Jessie Adkinson of Fitzgerald, daughters-Kristine and Kelsey both of Rochelle, sister-Jackie Gray of Hogansville, and 3-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM-1200 PM Saturday, September 5 in the funeral home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
