Ivey Dewain "Wayne" Hughes

Ivey Dewain "Wayne" Hughes, age 72 of East Dublin, passed away Friday, June 26, 2020 at his residence in East Dublin.Services will be held at 11:30 AM Monday, June 29th in the King of Kings Christian Church.Interment will be in the Hazelhurst City Cemetery.Ruel McKinney and Jerry Stephens will officiate the service. Mr.Hughes was born on March 24, 1948 in Hazelhurst, Ga.He was son of the late William Ivey Hughes and Martha Walls Hughes.He was Owner/Operator of his own trucking business for 40 years.He was a member of the King of Kings Christian Church. Survivors include:wife-Mae Hughes of East Dublin, son-Edwin Dewain Hughes (Lori) of East Dublin, daughters-Susan Hilton (Roy) of Rockledge, Denice Hughes of East Dublin and Lynn Buzzell (Kevin) of Rentz, brothers-Johnny Hughes (Elsie) of Hazelhurst and Bill Hughes (Lois) of Soperton, 10-grandchildren and 23-great-grandchildren.
