Irene Moorhouse, age 73 of 1078 Kingfisher Rd., Abbeville passed away Thursday, Decmeber 23, 2010.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, December 27th in the Cannonville Baptist Church.Tim Moorhouse and Reverend Roy Taylor will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Cannonville Cemetery. Mrs. Moorhouse was born on December 13, 1937 in Lafayette.She had lived in Abbeville since 2001.She was daughter of the late Jim Roberts and Martha Lauderdale Roberts.She was a former Nurse’s Aide and a mother and homemaker.She was a member of Cannonville Baptist Church. Survivors include:husband-Richard Moorhouse of Abbeville, son-Chris Moorhouse of Hazelhurst, daughter-Suzanne Seidel of Tarrytown, brother-Frank Roberts of Roanoke, Alabama, sister-Resa Patterson of Langdale and 3-grandchildren-Kevin Woods, Junior Moorhouse and Joanna Moorhouse. Visitation will be from 4-6 PM Sunday, December 26th in the funeral home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
