Huck Greene, age 61 of Pitts, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2020 at his residence.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 22nd in the Pleasant View Baptist Church.Reverend Jimmy Black will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Pleasant View Cemetery. Mr. Greene was born on January 7, 1959 in Macon, Ga.He was son of the late Arthur Gary Greene and Jackie Goodman Roberts.He was a member and Deacon of the Pleasant View Baptist Church and was former president of the Wilcox County State Bank.He was a 1977 graduate of Wilcox County High School and attended Georgia Southwestern College.He was a member of the Wilcox County Board of Commissioners District 3 for two terms and was an avid golfer. Survivors include:wife-Robin Greene of Pitts, sons-Cody and Ashley Greene of Pitts and Carter Greene of Pitts, mother-Jackie Roberts of Centerville, uncle and aunt-Harry and Gail Goodman of Abbeville, and sisters-Lisa and George Tomberlin of Lenox, Kim Molton of Warner Robins, Tracy Petersen and Brian of Acworth, Sonja Lister and Mark of Woodstock and Lyn Wright and Joe of Coolidge, Arizona, and grandchildren-Keigun, Tripp, Kaiden, Jones, Laurel and Ridge Greene. Pallbearers will be:Grant McKie, Casey Jones, Kevin Teel, Cason Bloodworth, Drew Howell and Chase Petersen.Honorary pallbearers will be the Wilcox County Board of Commissioners and Staff. Barry Coffee will play prelude and postlude and sing “Amazing Grace My Chains are Gone”. Frazier and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
