Horace Braden

Horace Braden, Jr., age 66 of Rochelle, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at his residence.Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, April 28th in the Pitts Church of God.Visitation will be one hour before the service from 3-4 PM in the church.Reverend Chuck Taylor, Reverend Britt Peavy and Reverend Danny Rhodes will officiate.Interment will be in the Antioch Cemetery. Mr. Braden was born on December 22, 1949 in Abbeville.He was son of the late Horace Braden and Mary Lynn Addison Braden. He was retired Conductor from the C. S. X. Railroad and was a member of the Pitts Church of God.He served his country with honor in the United States Army. Survivors include:wife-Claudette Braden of Rochelle, sons-Brad Braden (Chassidy) of Eastman and Horace Braden III of Abbeville, daughters-Kay Braden of Abbeville and Samantha Spurling of Abbeville, brothers-Robert Braden (Glenette) Braden of Rochelle and Wayne Braden of Abbeville, sister-Louise Hulett (DL) of Rhine, 4-grandchildren and 4-great-grandchildren.
