Herman Greene

Herman Greene Sr. age 80 of Rochelle, Ga. passed away Wednesday at his home. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday December 14th in the M.G.Frazier Memorial Chapel of the Frazier and Son Funeral Home . Rev. David Clark will officiate. Visitation 6-8 P.M. Thursday, December 13th in the Funeral Home. Interment will be held in The Morningside Cemetery in Rochelle, Ga. Herman was born in Irwin County on August 28, 1938. He was son of the late Robert Bailey Green, and Elda Young Griffin . He was retired from the City of Rochelle Maintenance Department.He served his country in the U.S. Army and was an avid fisherman with his friends, and he loved his family. Survivors include his wife: Linnie Greene, Son: Herman (Jeanette) Greene Jr. of Rochelle, Daughter: Elaine (Craig) Yancey of Alabaster, Ala. Grandsons: Robbie (Destan) Greene, Mason Yancey and Hayden Yancey. Active Pallbearers were: Robbie Greene, Ronnie Dennard, Joey Dennard, Tim Moore, Justin Partain, and Eddie Greene. Honorary Pallbearers were: Nelson and Mary Nell McWhorter, John McWhorter, Lawton and Carole Mays, Mimi Sutton, W.T. Copeland and Mike McElmurry.
