Henry E. Mitchell

Henry E. Mitchell, age 82 of Fitzgerald, passed away Wednesday, August 18th in the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, August 20th in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.Reverend Tom Camp will officiate. Mr. Mitchell was born on January 12, 1928 in Dixie, Ga.He was son of the late Bud Mitchell and Martha Ann McLean Mitchell.He was of the Baptist Faith and was employed with Ben Hill County Road Department.He was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Mitchell in 1992. Survivors include:wife-Margaret A. Mitchell of Fitzgerald, step-sons-Bryan Eldridge of Fitzgerald and Randy Eldridge of Ocilla, step-daughters-Teresa Foster and Sherry A. Kinnett both of Fitzgerald, brother-Charles E. Mitchell of Rochelle, sister-Addie Alford of Fitzgerald, 7-step-grandchildren and 11-step-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7-9 PM Thursday, August 19th in the funeral home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
