Helen E. Rutherford, age 84 of Rochelle, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016 in the Medical Center Navicent Health in Macon..Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, May 9, 2016 in the family plot in the Morningside Cemetery.Visitation will be 10:00 AM Monday at the funeral home.Reverend Eddie Smith will officiate. Mrs. Rutherford was born on April 15, 1932 in Toccoa, Georgia.She was daughter of the late Garnett D. Elrod and Mary Alwilda McKinney Elrod.She was a homemaker and member of the Pitts Church of God. Survivors include:husband-Derrell Rutherford of Rochelle, sons-Stan (Patty) Rutherford of McRae, Tim (Jean) Rutherford of Pitts and Allen Rutherford of Cordele, daughters-Alwilda Alli ( Eddie) Smith of Jefferson, S. C. and Melinda (Tim) Snavley of Black Forest, Colorado, brother-Buck Elrod, Jr. of Abbeville, sister-Jean (James) Sutton of Rochelle, grandchildren-Biff Rutherford, Holly (Andrew) Grasso, Rebekah (Josh) Price, Jeremy Smith, Caitlin Smith, Quincy Smith, Kasi (Jimmy) Gibbs, Taylor (Robert) Addison, Jarrad Snavley and Kayla Snavley and great-grandchildren-Tyler Price, Logan Price, Caden Price, Tegan Hawke Price, Bo Gibbs, Tucker Gibbs, Meredith Gibbs and Ryan Addison. Grandsons and grandson-in-laws will serve as pallbearers. Holly Grasso, Rebekah Price and Caitlin Smith will sing A Life That’sGood and the congregation will sing Amazing Grace.
