Helen S. Garrsion, age 78 of Abbeville, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012 in Abbeville.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 21st in the Cedar Creek Baptist Church.Reverend Napp Granade will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Cedar Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Garrison was born on July 22, 1933 in Abbeville.She was daughter of the late Glenn Lamar Smith and Clarice Rhea Smith.She was retired from Robins Air Force Base as a Expeditor and was a member of the Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include:husband-Clifton Garrison of Abbeville, daughters-Gay Gilliam of Abbeville and Karen (Steve) Crawford of Rochelle, brothers-Glenn L. Smith of Warwick and Roger Smith of Bonaire, sister-Anita Weaver of Forsyth, 3-grandhchildren and 4-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Cedar Creek Baptist Church or the charity of choice. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
