Harvey Holt Bloodsworth

Harvey Holt Bloodsworth, Jr., age 78, of Rochelle, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021, at his residence.He was a 1961 graduate of Pineview High School, and was retired from Ford Motor Company.He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army, and was also a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Harvey loved telling family stories, fishing, hunting, and especially family get-togethers.He also loved watching NASCAR, if there was a ford involved. Harvey was born March 5, 1943, in Daytona Beach, Florida.He is survived by his wife, Susie Bloodsworth of Rochelle; his step-mother, Dorothy Bloodsworth of Sanford, Fla.; his brother, John Morgan Bloodsworth of Lake City, Fla.; and his sisters, Brenda Griffin of Sanford, Fla., and Lorraine Spoto of California. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 27th, at 2:00 p.m. in Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Wilbanks and Rev. Jerry Jarrell officiating. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery with military honors.Pallbearers will be Roy Bloodworth, Jay Bloodworth, Jon Bloodworth, Mike Martin, Randy Stubbs, and Randall Stubbs.Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. in the church.
