Harry T. Mcglamry

Harry T. McGlamry, age 78 of Pitts, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024 in Cordele.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 3, 2024 in the Pleasant View Cemetery.  Visitation will be after the service.  Reverend Jimmy Black will officiate.

Mr. McGlamry was born on August 16, 1945 in Pitts, Ga.  He was son of the late Hubert McGlamry and Emmie Hunt McGlamry.  He was retired from Civil Service as a computer operator at Robins Air Force Base.  He was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and was an avid outdoorsman and liked to fish and hunt.  He served his country with honor in the United States Navy.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sue “Wendy” McGlamry.

Survivors include:  son;  Brian McGlamry, daughter; Christy (Brian) Troupe, brother; David McGlamry; sister; Jamie Sue Rhodes, grandchildren;  Britney Troupe and Kristyn McGlamry.

Frazier and Son Funeral and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
