Harold L. "Dusty" Rhodes

Harold L. “Dusty” Rhodes, age 86 of Fitzgerald, Ga., formerly of Rochelle, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024 in the Life Care Center in Fitzgerald.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 6, 2024 in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home.  Reverend Gary Mimbs will officiate. Interment will be in the Andersonville National Cemetery.

Mr. Rhodes was born on October 29, 1937 in Hardrock, Maryland.  He was son of the late Lloyd Edward Rhodes and Elsie May Keefer Rhodes.  He was a cabinet maker and member of Fitzgerald Nazarene Church.  He was an avid outdoorsman and loved gardening and repairing lawn mowers. He served his country with honor in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Rhodes and Leslie Rhodes.

Survivors include:  wife-Gladys Rhodes, son-Daniel Andrew Rhodes, daughters-Faith Black, Pauline Harnage and Darlene Correl, sisters-Marian Johnson, Edith Rhodes, and Kathleen Chastain, 15-grandchildren, 15-great-grandchildren and 1-great-great-grandchild.

Frazier and Son Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
