H. G. "Pete" Bloodworth

H. G. “Pete” Bloodworth, age 88 of Rochelle, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 at his residence.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 19th in the Friendship Baptist Church.Reverend Jerry Jarrell and Reverend Buford Tanner will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Friendship Cemetery. Mr. Bloodworth was born on February 29, 1928.He was son of the late James Arthur Bloodworth and Lola Belle Rhodes Bloodworth.He is a member of the Friendship Baptist Church, the Wilcox County Farm Bureau and the Georgia Sheriff’s Association and he was a farmer.He was a former member of the Board of Directors of Planters Bank and the Wilcox County F.S.A. Committee . He is survived by:wife-Betty Bloodworth of Rochelle, sons-Roy (Lynn) Bloodworth of Rochelle, Jay (Tracie) Bloodworth of Rochelle and Jon (Gala) Bloodworth, daughter-Sarah Alice (Dave) Crawford of Newman, 8-grandchildren and 2-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Monday, April 18th in the funeral home. A special thank you to caregivers:Missy McKinney, Bobbie Jean Roberts and the Gentiva Hospice.
