Glenn R. Peavy

Glenn R. Peavy, age 49 of 318 South Grant St., Apt. 302, Fitzgerald, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at his residence.A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 21st in the family plot in the Morningside Cemetery.Visitation will follow at the cemetery immediately after the service.Reverend Jerry Jarrell will officiate. Mr. Peavy was born on August 16, 1964 in Hawkinsville.He was son of the late Royce B. Peavy.He was a retired Correction Officer with the Dooly State Prison and was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include:mother-Joyce M. Peavy of Jesup, daughter-Megan Lynn (Jess) Gentry of Pineview and sisters-Shelia (Lee) Meredith of Abbeville and Sarah (Sid) Allen of Jesup, nephew-Zach Allen and niece-Sydney Allen. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Friendship Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 34, Pineview, Ga. 31071. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
