Gladys Gregory

Mrs. Gladys Gregory, age 91, of Buford, formerly of Pitts, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022.  She was a secretary for the Wilcox County School System, a member of the Pitts Church of God, and loved reading her Bible.  She adored her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and had a loving heart for everyone she met.

Mrs. Gladys was born May 20, 1931, in Pitts, Georgia, to the late George F. Wright and Jura Clayton Wright.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wendell E. Gregory in 2004.

Survivors include her daughter Debbie Sharrett (Fred); her grandchildren, Justin Sharrett (Amanda); Jordan Sharrett (Nikki); and Logan Sharrett (Layne); and her great-grandchildren, Peyton, Jackson, Nolan, Avery Grace, Grayson, Caden Charleston, and Presley Kate Sharrett.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 4 ^th , at 2:00 p.m. in the Pitts Church of God with Pastor Hugh Anderson officiating.  Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.  Interment will be in Pine City Cemetery with Pastor Brett Jarriel officiating.
