Geraldine Cross age 95 of Pineview, formerly of Rochelle, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 in the Crossview Care Center.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 9th in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.Dr. Ralph Griffin will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Cross was born on February 11, 1922 in Pitts, Ga.She was daughter of the late James Hardy Gordon and Mary Jane Dowdy Gordon.She was a retired Seamstress from Wilcox Garment Co.She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Tom Cross and a son James Cross. Survivors include:daughter-Norma Jean (Gene) Burt of Franklin, NC, daughter-in-law-JoAnn Cross of Rochelle, 5-grandchildren, 17-great-grandchildren and 9-great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday, May 8th in the funeral home. Mitch Cornell will provide the music.Selections will be “Amazing Grace” and “In the Garden”.
