George Wilbur Crosby

Mr. George Wilbur Crosby, age 68 of 4500 Davis Rd., Macon, Ga. passed away Monday, May 11, 2009 at his residence.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 14 in the Pine City Cemetery in Pitts, Ga.Visitation will be from 9-10 AM Thursday May 14 in Frazier and Son Funeral Home.The Rev. Jim Faircloth will officiate. Mr. Crosby was born on September 5, 1940 in Wilcox County.He was son of the late Giddens W. Crosby and Lucille Blizzard Crosby Arant.He had lived in Macon for the past year moving from Cordele.He was of the Baptist Faith and was a retired Truck Driver.He served his country with honor in the United States Army. Survivors include:son-Richard (Missie) Crosby of Macon, daughters-Terri (Phillip) Sapp and Sandra (Tom) Porter both of Macon, brother-Wayman (Joanne) Crosby of Centerville, sisters-Donna (Shane) Hawkins and Dianne (Bobby) Walker both of Macon and 12-grandchildren. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
