Gainelle B. Stewart, age 78 of Pineview, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 in the Crisp Regional Hospital.Funeral services will be held Friday, December 9, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Pineview Baptist Church.Dr. Kim Conley will officiate.Visitation will be held at the home at 338 Warren Street, Pineview, Ga., Thursday, December 8, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.Interment will be in the Roberta City Cemetery at 3:00 PM. Mrs. Stewart was born on August 20, 1933 in Roberta, Ga.She was daughter of the late Paul I. Bowers and Annie Mae Harris Bowers.She was retired from Pineview Health Care where she was Director of Nursing for 18 years.She was a member of Pineview Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James Milton Stewart and a son, Jaye Stewart in 1996. Survivors include:daughter-Susan (Doni) Helms of Marietta, and a sister-Winifred Winslett of Roberta, grandchildren-Shelbee (Charles) Bailey, Michael (Tara)Helms, Daniel Helms, Jenna (Brent) Womble, Trae (Melissa) Stewart, Joseph Stewart, great-grandchildren-Jaye Beth and Jude Womble, Merilyn and Amber Bailey, Mari Cate Stewart, and Heidi Helms. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Pineview Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be-Michael Helms, Trae Stewart, Daniel Helms, Joseph Stewart, Brent Womble, and Charles Bailey. Music will be provided by Rhonda Henderson. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
