Obituary Notice for:Franklin D R Rountree, Sr. Franklin D R Rountree, Sr. age 69 of 120 Spring St., Cordele, passed away Friday, November 7, 2008 in the Crisp Regional Hospital.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 9, 2008 in the Pine City Cemetery.Rev. Ronnie Youngblood will officiate. Mr. Rountree was born on March 17, 1939 in Wilcox County.He was son of the late Ernest Lee Rountree and Mae Wright Rountree.He was a Security Guard and was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include:sons-Franklin D R Rountree, Jr. of Kingsport, Tennessee and Shane Rountree of Macon, daughters-Tammy Welch of Cordele, Bridgette Williams of Hazelhurst and Charmion Hooper of Savannah, brothers-Robert Rountree of Pitts, Jimmy Rountree of Pineview, and Willis Rountree of Warner Robins, sisters-Patsy Reed and Elizabeth Floyd both of Marietta, 12-grandchildren and 5-great-grandchildren. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
