Frank E. Mckinney

Frank E. McKinney, age 93 of Abbeville, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020 at his residence.A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, November 21st in the Christian Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Rites.Billy McKinney and Justin McKinney will officiate. Mr. McKinney was born on September 21, 1927 in Abbeville, Ga.He was son of the late Lewis W. McKinney and Mary Orene McGlamory McKinney.He was a retired employee from Blue Bird Body Co. in Ft. Valley and managed Wilcox Garment Co. for 20 years plus.He was a member of the Liberty Bible Church in Gainesville, Ga.He served his country with honor in the Navy during WWII. Survivors include:wife-Mary Ellen McKinney of Abbeville, sons-Billy McKinney (Joy) of Braselton, Bobby McKinney (Vicky) of Pitts, and Benny McKinney of Gainesville, daughter-Sharon McKinney of Abbeville, a sister-Martha Mays of Hawkinsville, grandchildren-Josh McKinney, Austin McKinney, Allison McKinney Teter, Justin McKinney, Jesse McKinney, Amanda McKinney, Donnie Rountree, and Kara McKinney and 10-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Christian Hill Free Will Baptist Church Fund. Frazier and Son Funeral and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family request that everyone attending please wear a mask and please observe social distancing.
