Frances Turner Croft

Frances Turner Croft, age 93 of 4064 Hwy. 280 East, Cordele, passed away Friday, November 19th in the Pineview Health Care Center.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 21st in the Seville Cemetery.Reverend Royce Freeman will officiate. Mrs. Croft was born on September 4th, 1917 in Calhoun, Ga.She was daughter of the late Felton Marion Turner and Lavada Baldwin Turner.She was a homemaker and a member of the Seville Baptist Church.She graduated from school in Chattanooga, Tennessee.She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Harrison Croft, a daughter, Naida Johnson, and a son, James Darrell Croft. Survivors include:sons-Richard Croft of Cordele, Phillip (Sue) Croft of Pitts and Cecil Layfield of Cordele, daughters-Barbara (Sam) Owens of Oakfield, Carolyn Standard of Cordele, Marjorie (Russell) Yow of Vienna, Debra (Lee) Fraser of Leslie, Rhonda (David) Barefoot of McDonough and Patti Croft of Pitts, former daughter-in-law and caregiver-Carol Wade of Wenona, 15-grandchildren, 19-great-grandchildren and 3-great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-7 PM Saturday, November 20th in the funeral home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
