Faye Williford

Faye Williford, age 75 of Rochelle, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016 in the Tift Regional Medical Center.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Am Tuesday, July 5th in the Christian Home Baptist Church.Reverend David Clark will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Christian Home Cemetery. Mrs. Williford was born on August 17, 1940 in Douglas, Ga.She was daughter of the late Cordie Portwood and Ruby Paul Thompson Portwood.She was a member of the Christian Home Baptist Church and was a retired seamstress from Ithaca Manufacturing Company in Rochelle.She was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Williford. Survivors include:son-Eddie Beecher of Rochelle (Beverly Sheffield), sister-Jean Biggers of Ocilla, grandchildren-Brian Beecher, Allen and Kim Beecher, Crystal and Andrew Evers, Chance and Francesca Creeley and Cody and Amber Beecher and great-grandchildren-Brayden Beecher, Gary Allen Beecher, Preston Beecher, Owen Evers, Lilla Beecher, Daryn Beecher and Sullivan Creeley. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Monday, July 4th in the funeral home. Pallbearers will be:Jamie Plemons, Jason Hilliard, Andrew Evers, Cody Beecher, Chance Creeley and Allen Beecher. Vickie Brown will play prelude and postlude and sing “Just One Rose” and “Amazing Grace”. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
