Faye M. Daniels, age 74 of Bonaire, passed away Wednesday, June 22 at her residence.A devoted wife and mother, and a very super-special Grandma, Faye served alongside her husband, Jimmy, as he pastored 8 churches over the last 40 years.To her church families, she was known as “Mrs. Faye” and loved by all.She was an accomplished seamstress, volunteered as a Pink Lady, enjoyed bowling, and loved to babysit “her babies”. Faye is the daughter of the late Horace and Bessie Kitchens Merritt of Mitchell, Ga.She has five brothers and sisters whom she loved and thought the world of:Grace (Ray) Powell of Augusta, Billy (Jo) Merritt of Tifton, Jean (Harold) Pike of Mitchell, Bobby Merritt of Mitchell and Alice (Roger) Swann of Nashville.Much loved nieces and nephews are Janet, Rhonda, Rusty, Debbie, Mike, Mark, Jeff and Alison. Faye is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jimmy; son and wife, Timmy and Lynn of Zebulon; daughter and husband, Tammy and Lane Bryant of Lorena, Texas;grandchildren, who Grandma adored and loved with all her heart, Jessie, Jamie, Kallie, Kelsey, and Cam.She is also survived by sister-in-loves-Sandra (Richard) Griffin of Montgomery, Alabama, Wanda (James) Rhodes of Rochelle; and Ruth Ann Barr of Cochran; much loved nieces and nephews; Robbie, Haroldene, David, Danny, Kristian, , Vic, Beth, Niki and Jared. Funeral services will be held at Cannonville Baptist Church in Abbeville Saturday, June 25 at 11:00 AM.Rev. Tommy Day Wilson will officiate.Graveside service will be held at 4:30 PM Saturday in the Mineral Springs Cemetery in Mitchell, Ga.Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Friday, June 24 in the Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Heart of Georgia Hospice and the American Cancer Society. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
