Everett E. Kelley, age 92, of Rebecca, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022, in the Pruitt Health Care Center, Ashburn, Georgia.He was a retired Baptist Minister for 45 years, and was a member of the Trinity Community Church, Ashburn.He was a people person who loved his family and grandchildren, never meeting a stranger.He also loved his garden and flowers, and was a model car collector. Everett was born May 23, 1929, in Toccoa, Georgia, to the late Noah Clinton Kelley and Ora Pitts Kelley.He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Geraldine Johnson Kelley and their infant baby; his brothers, Albert, Ray, and Bill Kelley; and his sisters, Edna Oliver and Helen Hogan. Survivors include his wife, Marie Kelley; his son, Everett Kimsey Kelley (Shirley); his brother, Calvin Kelley (Shirley); his sister, Mary Brown; his step-sons Mark Williams (Patricia) and Dana Williams; his step-daughter, Diane Davis (Harry); his grandchildren, Kim Kelley and Stacey Smith (Chris); his great-grandchildren, Alex Kelley (Brianna), Kevin Rouse, and Presley Kelley; one great-great-grandchild, Ayden Kelley; seven step-grandchildren, and ten step-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 11th, at 2:00 p.m. in the M.G. Frazier Memorial Chapel with Rev. Carlton Webb officiating.Interment will be in the Pitts Cemetery.Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.prior to the service at the funeral home.
