Evelyn L. Roberts, age 66 of Abbeville, passed away August 26, 2018 in the Crisp Regional Hospital.A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday, September 11th in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be after the service. Brother Tommy Stewart will officiate. Mrs. Roberts was born on January 1, 1952 in Ashburn, Georgia.She was daughter of the late Robert Clark Clowers and Dorothy Elizabeth Nelson Clowers.She was a homemaker.She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie J. Roberts and a son, Curtis Denham in 1986. Survivors include:son-Christopher (Kimberly) Clowers of Abbeville and Jimmy Lee Denham of Cordele, daughters-Marilyn (Jeff) Cross of Forest Park and Charlotte Young of Fitzgerald, sisters-Dorothy (Clyde) Kennedy of Tifton and Rhonda (Tony) Self of Ashburn,grandchildren-Ashley Seal, Daniel Cross, Curtis Denham, Brianna Denham, Jayden Barefoot, Grayson Moore, Hayden, Logan and Landon Seal. Betty Ann Stewart will sing “God on the Mountain” and cd’s will play “Down in the Boondocks” and “Amazing Grace”. Frazier and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
