Evelyn E. Minchew

Evelyn E. Minchew, age 83 of Abbeville, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012 in the Taylor Regional Hospital.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 12th in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Rebecca.Reverend Carlton Webb will officiate. Mrs. Minchew was born on January 10, 1929 in Lands Crossing.She had lived in Wilcox County since 1903 moving from Ashburn.She was daughter of the late Ewing W. Grice and Emma William Grice.She was a homemaker and a member of Kramer Baptist Church. Suvivors include:sons-Larry Minchew of Abbeville, Donald Minchew of Hatley and Jerry Minchew of Tifton, daughters-Patty Gibson of Carrier, Mississippi and Sharon Morris of Tifton, 17-grandchildren, 26-great-grandchildren and 5-great-great-grandchildren. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
