Evelyn W. McDonald, age 90 of Rochelle, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019 in the Pinewood Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hawkinsville.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 21, 2019 in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home.Visitation will be one hour before the service from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM in the chapel.Pastor Richard Compton will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in Morningside Cemetery. Evelyn Inez Walker McDonald was born on February 23, 1929 in Pitts, Georgia.She was the daughter of the late Reverend Henry Jefferson Walker and Wilma Gertrude Sailers Walker.She was retired from the Georgia Bureau of Vital Statistics in Atlanta, Georgia.She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rochelle and a faithful member of the Senior Adult Choir and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class until she moved to Northside Villa.She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 65 years, Rudolph V. McDonald.In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by a sister, Ethelene Walker and her brothers, James Walker, J. C. Walker, Cecil Walker and Arnold Walker. Evelyn is survived by several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Rochelle or Friends of Morningside Cemetery.
