Eugene "Reb" Hollingsworth

Eugene “Reb” Hollingsworth age 70 of Abbeville, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 in the Medical Center Navicent Health. A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 31st in the Siloam Cemetery.Reverend David Clark and Reverend Joey Boney will officiate. Mr. Hollingsworth was born on July 5, 1948 in Abbeville, Ga. He was son of the late Joe Hollingsworth and Margene Newman Hollingsworth.He was a retired self-employed carpenter and was of the Baptist faith.He was an avid fisherman and truly loved the outdoors.He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Michaela Hollingsworth in 1998. Survivors include:son-Michael Hollingsworth of Abbeville, sisters-Brenda Blackwell of Abbeville, Elizabeth (Raymond) Brown of Columbus, Susan (Andy) Luke of Fitzgerald, Judy (Joe) Story of Fitzgerald and grandchildren-Toby Hollingsworth and Amanda Hollingsworth both of Pineview.
