E.T. Howell

E.T. Howell, age 94, of Pitts, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024, in the Crisp Regional Hospital, Cordele, Georgia.  Mr. Howell was a retired Civil Service employee with Robins Air Force Base as an Inventory Manager.  He was also an Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a farmer, and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.

Mr. Howell was born May 27, 1929, in Pitts, Georgia, to the late William Harry Howell and Lora McGlamry Howell.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Annette Gordon Howell; and his sister, Martha Rhodes.

Survivors include his sons:  Donnie Howell of Pitts, Phil Howell (Gail) of Ellaville, and Robby Howell of Pitts; two brothers, Mack Howell (Pat), and Wendell Howell (Norma Jean); his grandchildren:  Thad Howell, Matthew Poole (Maelyn), Will Howell, and Ashton Howell Schwarzer (Chris); and his great-grandchildren:  Keyton, Pate, and Knolyn Poole.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 24th, at 11:00 a.m. in Pleasant View Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Black officiating.  Interment will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
