Erin Delaney Gibbs

Erin Delaney Gibbs, age 23 of Fitzgerald, passed away on February 25, 2025 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home at 11 AM Friday, February 28, 2025.  Reverend Josh Bowles and Reverend Rex Johnson will officiate.  Interment will be in the Siloam Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Thursday, February 27, 2025 in the Frazier and Son Funeral Home.

Erin was born on June 6, 2001 in Columbia, SC.  She was daughter of Gwen Gibbs and James L. Gibbs. She was a Highschool graduate from Fitzgerald High School. She had fought many health issues all her life, but seemed to come out like a little trooper. On February 25, 2025 at 1:20 PM with family and friends surrounding her, the Lord serenaded her by angels to heaven and took her out of the pain and suffering.

Survivors include: mother-Gwen Gibbs, father-James L. Gibbs (Steve Gaines), sister-Emily Victoria Stevens (Scott), nephews-Lincoln and Kaiden Stevens. She is preceded in death by a sister-Abigail Gibbs and grandparents-Charles H. Fletcher and Wilma W. Fletcher, Ray Elder and Inez Elder, and Linda and David Gaines.

Frazier and Son Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
