Elna Louise Kennington

Elna Louise Kennington, age 93 of Ocoee, Florida, passed away Sunday, October 3rdin the Lake Bennett Health and Rehab Center due to complications from Alzheimers.Mrs. Kennington was a member of the Glad Tidings Church in Ocoee, Florida.Her pastor, Reverend Gary Howell, will officiate her funeral services Saturday, October 9th at 1:00 PM in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle, Ga.Interment will follow in the Pitts Cemetery. Mrs. Kennington, daughter of the late John Henry Nelson and Hattie Owens Nelson, was born in Ashburn, Ga. on July 2nd, 1917.At the time of her demise, she was a homemaker with retirements from Westminster Towers (Orlando), Krystal (Orlando) and William Carter Company in Barnesville, Ga.In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leon M. Kennington, Sr., and sister, Rose Davis. Survivors include her son, Leon M. Kennington, Jr., her daughter-in-law, Cheryl Kennington, and grandchildren, Lisa Kennington Taylor, Whitney Gayle Kennington, and great-grandchildren, Christian Austin Kennington and Emily Taylor along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
