Ellen Elder

Ellen Elder, age 57 of Fitzgerald, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 17th in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home.Reverend Danny Allen and Reverend Ronnie Youngblood will officiate.Interment will be in the Morningside Cemetery. Mrs. Elder was born on September 7, 1954 in Cordele.She had lived in Fitzgerald since August of 2011 having moved from Rochelle.She was a member of the Corner Stone Baptist Church in Fitzgerald and was a homemaker. Survivors include:husband-Ed Elder of Fitzgerald, parents-L. V. and Elise Parks of Rochelle, sons-Len (Rose) Harvey of Abbeville and Jae Elder of Fitzgerald, daughters-Toni Harvey of Fitzgerald and Samantha (Chris) Hancock of Fairbanks, Alaska, brothers-Jack and Ricky Parks both of Rochelle, Junior Parks of Pitts and Russell Parks of Welborn, Florida, sisters-Alice McBryant of Rochelle and Lisa Justice of Eastman, 7-grnadchildren-Logan and Travis Lister, Emmie and Alex Hancock, Rebecca Harvey, James Waters and Shannon Ray Elder. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday, December 16th in the funeral home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
