Elizabeth D. Moore

Elizabeth D. Moore, age 85 of 217 Jet Lane, Pitts, passed away Friday, June 6, 2014 in the Crisp Regional Nursing and Rehab.A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, June 8th in the First Baptist Church of Rochelle. Visitation will be from 1:30-2:30 in the church before the service. Reverend Jay Moore and Reverend Jim Wiley will officiate.Interment will follow at a later date. Mrs. Moore was born on October 6, 1928 in Roswell, Ga.She was daughter of the late Ben Larkin Stroup and Zadie Russell Stroup. She was a retired Scale Operator with Doster Warehouse in Rochelle, was a homemaker and was of the Baptist FaithMrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Morris Moore, a daughter,Brenda Waters, 4-grandchildren-Ryan, Blake and Gibson Moore and Charles Anderson. Survivors include:sons-Larry (Jan) Moore of Pineview, Dennis Moore of Chattanooga, TN, Donald (Jackie) Moore of Warwick, and Tony (Susan) Moore of McDonough,, daughters-Gail (James Hensley) Graham of Rochelle, Cheryl (James) Brock of Carrolton, Ga. and Mary Clark of Pitts, 17-grandchildren and 18-great-grandchildren. The family may be contacted at the residence of James Hensley and Gail Graham, 317 Branch Rd., Rochelle, Ga. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
