Elizabeth Helms

Elizabeth Helms, age 94, of Rochelle, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at her residence.She was a seamstress for the old Ithaca Mfg. Co, and a member of Christian Home Baptist Church. Mrs. Helms was born November 15, 1926, in Pitts, Georgia, to the late Lamb C. Coleman and Carrie Wade Coleman.She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Linda Smith and Betty Carol Helms. Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Boney (Joey) of Rochelle; her grandchildren, Scott Boney (Crystal), Josh Boney (Leigh), Jodie Fricks (Christopher), Lynn Raines (Kyle), and Clayton Smith; and her great-grandchildren, Madisin Raines, Asher and Rylie Boney, Carlan and Joseph Fricks; and her Hospice care-givers, Michelle Beck and Kimberlee Little. A graveside service will be held Friday, August 27th, at 10:00 a.m. in Morningside Cemetery with Rev. Joey Boney, and Rev. Scott Boney officiating.
