Elizabeth P. Blake

Elizabeth P. Blake, age 91, of Pineview, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021, in the Taylor Regional Hospital, Hawkinsville, Georgia.She was a retired teacher with Wilcox County School System for 50 years.She was a member of the Oaks Community Church, and loved cooking and playing cards, and loved to baby sit. Mrs. Blake was born November 19, 1929, in Pineview, to the late Robert Thomas Pope and Ola Holliday Pope.She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Lee Blake, and her brother, George Pope.Survivors include her sons, Gary Blake (Donnette) of Pineview, and Mike Blake (Carol Watson) of Athens; her daughter, Leigh Blake of Pineview; four grandchildren, Shane Leverett (Kelly) of Milledgeville, Lynette Murphy (Joe) of Unadilla, Wayne Blake (Katrina) of Pineview, and Mica Blake (Cory Brait) of Atlanta; and six great-grandchildren, John Pate Leverett, and Avery Leverett both of Milledgeville, Ben Murphy of Unadilla, Logan, Lauren, and Dawson Blake all of Pineview. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 17th, at 11:00 a.m. in Pineview Cemetery with Rev. Blake Westbrook officiating.A visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 16th at the funeral home. Frazier & Son Funeral and Cremation Services are in charge of the arrangements.
