Elise G. Parks, age 81 of Rochelle, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, November 26th in the Tabernacle Baptist Church.Reverend Ralph Griffin and Reverend Danny Allen will officiate.Visitation will be one hour before the service from 2-3 PM in the church.Interment will be in the family plot in the Morningside Cemetery. Mrs. Parks was born on May 12, 1937 in Rebecca, Ga.She was daughter of the late Raymond Griffin and Ruth Coleman Griffin.She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.She was retired from the Wilcox County Elementary School Lunchroom.She was preceded in death by her husband, L. V. Parks,sons, Ronnie Parks and Junior Parks, and a daughter, Ellen Elder. Survivors include:sons-Jack (Mindy) Parks of Rochelle, Russell (Laura) Parks of Wellburn, Florida and Rickey (Merrie Swan) Parks of Rochelle, daughters-Alice (Bobby) McBryant of Rochelle and Lisa (Greg Johnson) Justice of Eastman, sisters-Ruby (Earl) Wiggins of Fitzgerald and Margaret (Bill) Smith of Fitzgerald, 16-grandchildren and 25-great-grandchildren.
