Eleanor Cornett

Mrs. Eleanor Cornett, age 71 of Pitts, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010 in the Crisp Regional Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 14 in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home.Reverend Danny Allen will officiate.Interment will be in the Morningside Cemetery. Mrs. Cornett was born on May 18, 1938 in Atlanta, Ga. She had been living in Pitts for the past 15 years moving from Hilton Head, S. C.She was daughter of the late Julian Hiram Lovett and Thelma Moderete Williams Lovett.She was a bookkeeper with Floral Hills Cemetery and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Stone Mountain, Ga.She is preceded in death by 2-sons-David and Donnie Rice and a grandson-Christopher Rice. Survivors include: husband-Larry Cornett of Pitts, son-Richard Rice of Lawrenceville, daughters-Cathy Henderson of Pitts and Sherri Bright of Stone Mountain, step-son-Rick Cornett of Pitts, 6-grandchildren and 9-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday, April 13 in the funeral home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
