Edward L. "Eddie" Helms

Edward L. “Eddie” Helms, Jr., age 66, of Abbeville, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022, in the Atrium Navicent Medical Center, Macon, Georgia.  He was a supervisor for the American Blanching Co., in Fitzgerald, a member of the Western Light Masonic Lodge #272 F.&A.M in Abbeville, and enjoyed being involved in the Confederacy Reenactment, and riding his motorcycle.

Eddie was born August 25, 1955, to the late Edward L. Helms and Mary Fronie Brown Helms.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Debra Barker Helms.

Survivors include his son, Derek Helms (Miranda); and his aunt, Jackie Carden.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, June 29 ^th , at 10:00 a.m. in the Cedar Creek Cemetery, with Rev. Danny Allen officiating.
