Edna Charlotte Ware

Edna Charlotte Ware, age 70 of Abbeville, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012 at her residence.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 22nd in the Stubbs Cemetery in Abbeville.Reverend Chuck Taylor and Reverend Talmadge Wilcox will officiate. Mrs. Ware was born on November 21, 1941 in Abbeville.She was daughter of the late William Phillip Statham and Irene Craft Statham.She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church and was a homemaker.She was preceded in death by her husband, William Donald Ware. Survivors include:daughters-Wanda Carol Gaines of Fitzgerald, Donna Marie Crawford, Edna Sandra Mitchell and Amy Joy Ware all of Abbeville, brothers-Frank Statham of Albany and Roy Statham of Cordele, sister-Sylvie "Nancy" Cotterman of Decatur, Tennessee and 1-grandchild. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Saturday, April 21st in the funeral home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
