Edith Frazier McAfee, 91, of Rochelle, Georgia, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016, at Crossview Care Center in Pineview, Georgia. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:30 AM, Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at East View Cemetery in Rome, Georgia with Barry Henderson officiating.Visitation will be held 4-6 PM, Monday, May 30, 2016 at Frazier & Son Funeral Home in Rochelle.Further visitation will take place 9:30 – 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Henderson & Sons South Chapel in Rome, Georgia. Mrs. McAfee was born April 24, 1925, in Adairsville, Georgia, to the late James Wilson Holt & Bessie Sherman Holt.She was a retired sales clerk with Lad & Lassie in Rome.She was a member of Lindale United Methodist Church in Rome and attended Abbeville United Methodist Church in Abbeville.She was preceded in death by her husbands, Glenn Frazier and Grady McAfee as well as two brothers and three sisters. She is survived by a son, Dale Frazier and his wife Patricia of Rochelle; a daughter, Susan Frazier Poole of Rochelle; step-children, Eddie McAfee and his wife Joy of Hiram and Martha Buffington and her husband Harold of Adairsville; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Abbeville United Methodist Church Building Fund, 223 Broad Street South, Abbeville GA31001.
