Edith S. Holt, age 85 of Rochelle, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville.Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 13th inMorningside Cemetery in the family plot.Reverend David Clark will officiate. Mrs. Holt was born on May 5, 1929 in Watkinsville, Ga.She was daughter of the late Levi Scoggens and Virga Sprouts Scoggens.She was retired Owner of Edith’s Beauty Salon.She was of the Baptist Faith and was preceded in death by her husband, Harold G. Holt. Survivors include:son-Dennis Holt of Lizella, daughter-Debra Holt Goni of Lawrenceville, sister-Mary Hughes of Marietta, 6-grandchildren-Curtis Holt, Natalie Holt, Lee Holt, Ana Conner, David Holt Goni and Jason Holt and 1-great-grandchild, Christina Conner. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
