Eddie Rountree

Eddie Rountree, age 65, of Pitts, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021, in Crisp Regional Hospital, Cordele, Georgia.He was a retired Lineman for Middle Georgia E.M.C., and a Baptist by faith. Eddie was born September 29, 1955, in Tampa, Florida, to the late Julian Rountree, and is survived by his mother, Doris Rountree of Pitts.He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Rountree.Survivors include his wife, Kay Rountree of Pitts; and his daughter, Whitney Rountree of Hinesville. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 10th, at 2:00 p.m. in Pitts Cemetery with Rev. Doug James officiating.Alex Clements will be providing the music.
