Early G. Stone

Early G. Stone, age 81, of Abbeville, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, in Tift Regional Medical Center, Tifton, Georgia.He was a former owner and operator of Stone’s Car Wash, and a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Early was born October 5, 1940, in Abbeville, to the late Plas and Alma Stone.He was also preceded in death by his son, Early Stone, Jr., his daughter, Kathy Stephens; his siblings, Bobby Stone, Joyce Dorminy, Donald Stone, and Liz Vaughn.Survivors include his wife, Monteen Stone of Abbeville; his son-in-law, Tim Stephens of Abbeville; his grandchildren, Natalie Stephens and James Golden; and four great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 14th, at 11:00 a.m. in Antioch Cemetery with Rev. David Clark officiating.
