Dorothy M. Wilson, age 96 of Abbeville, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 in Gray, Georgia.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 6th in the Cannonville Baptist Church.Visitation will be one hour before the service from 1-2 PM in the church.Reverend Tim Moorhouse will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Cannonville Cemetery. Mrs. Wilson was born on March 1, 1920 in Abbeville.She was daughter of the late William Basil Miller and Carrie Louise Sangster Miller. She was a member of Cannonville Baptist Church and was a Retired Inspector with Cordele Uniform.She was preceded in death by her hsuband, Henry A. "Bud" Wilson and a daughter, Betty N. Wilson in 1993. Survivors include:son-Tommy D. (Sue) Wilson of Abbeville, daughters-Gloria Duffell of Gray, Louise (Roger) Zilhmann of McDonough, Clara (Bill) Bramlett of Snellville, 7-grandchildren and 7-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Billy Bramlett, Ken Wilson, Andy Zilhmann, Blake Wilson, Austin Nunnemaker and Jeff Haire. Prelude and postlude will be played by Kathy Harvey.Tim Moorhouse and Kathy will sing “Precious Memories”, “Go Rest High” and “Blessed Assurance”. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Heartland Hospice, 3312 Northside Drive, d250, Macon, Ga. 31210.
