Donald O. Keene

Donald O. Keene, age 76, of Rochelle, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at his residence. He was a retired civil service employee with Robins Air Force Base, an Army veteran, and had retired from the U.S. Air Force Reserve. Donald was a Baptist by faith. He was born January 18, 1946, in Abbeville, Georgia, to the late Clyde Keene and Gladys Mullis Keene. He was preceded in death by his loving wife and best friend, Linda McWhorter Keene; a sister, Patsy Keene Dunagan; and a brother, Roy Keene. Survivors include his children, Wendi French (Billy), and Kresta Wilson (Brian); his brother, Ricky Keene (Carol); his grandchildren, Hope French, Kinsey Gordon (Gary), Emily, Ella, Ava, and Anna French, and Gracie Wilson; and his great-grandchildren, Izzy and Ruthie Gordon. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Saturday, March 12th, at 3:00 p.m. in Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Rev. David Clark and Rev. Joey Boney officiating.
