Donald Lee “Donnie” Clark, age 62 of Rochelle, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018 in the Dorminy Medical Center.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 5th in the Union Baptist Church.Visitation will be one hour before the service from 10-11 AM in the church.Reverend Mike Gibbs and Reverend Robert Robinson will officiate.Interment will be in the Morningside Cemetery. Mr. Clark was born on March 26, 1956 in Hawkinsville, Ga.He was son of the late Harris D. Clark and mother, Sara Gibbs Clark.He was a member of the Union Baptist Church.He was employed by Helena Chemical Co. and was a farmer.He was former member and chairman of the Wilcox Board of Education and board member of the Ocmulgee Cattleman’s Association.He was a member of the Young Farmer’s Association and vice-President of the Wilcox County Farm Bureau.He loved his children, grandchildren and his church.He was an avid Georgia Football Fan and loved to grill and cook and never met a stranger. Survivors include:mother-Sara Clark of Rochelle, wife-Janice Clark of Rochelle, son-Cameron Clark of Rochelle, daughters-Nicole (Andy) Anderson of Rochelle and Candice (Joel) McKie of Atlanta, brothers-Edwin (Vikki) Clark of Rochelle and Ken (Jennifer) Clark of Rochelle, mother-in-law-Sadie McClain of Pitts, grandchildren-Gage Anderson, Lexie Anderson, Harrison McKie and Blythe McKie and several nieces and nephews. The family request that donations be made to the Friends of Morningside Cemetery Fund, P. O. Box 156, Rochelle, Ga. 31079 or the charity of choice. Music will be provided by Vickie Brown and the former Ambassadors Quartet. Pallbearers are:Gage Anderson, Chris McBryant, Gary Walker, Brent Gibbs, Joel Gonzalez and Terry Crooms.
